In a world of buzzing technology, and so much of it at the tips of every child’s fingers, it becomes easy to lose touch with the real world. These posters, designed for the One Show competition, serve as a call to action that promote kids to rediscover the outside and recharge themselves, instead of the devices they are often tethered to. Each poster has a different play on words that relates modern networks or electronics back to the outdoors. I wanted these posters to reflect the way kids illustrate and the way they create, so I executed these posters using a cut-paper style to build scenes and objects out of simple vector shapes and bright, enjoyable colors.
