Wandernauts is a tablet app I created that encourages and allows children to explore cities in the United States. Children can bring their tablet with them and open this app at any one of the featured locations. They will then be able to move and interact with elements and are prompted with questions themed to the location. They will have to look for the answer or learn about it while there. When a city is completely explored and all questions have been answered, the user can write a short description of their experience in the featured scrapbook. The scrapbook also contains badges and stickers the user collected while exploring. The illustration style of this app is done in a kid-oriented cut paper style made of simple shapes and colors that make it fun and easy to understand. The target audience for this product is between the ages of 6 and 12.
